A Brief Thought

I had a brief thought last night. But that's not what surprised me. Nor was it the thought that inspired this Rambling. Nor did it surprise me that this brief thought was as incredibly complex as it was brief. What surprised me was when I tried to explain the thought to my wife. That was when I had the brief thought that inspired me to write. I was surprised that it took me a good ten seconds to say exactly what it was that made up my split-second thought.

So I was kinda bog-mindled by the thought of how powerful thought is. And how useless words can be sometimes.
